Wendel was born and raised in San Antonio, around the family land, banking and cattle business. After graduating from Tulane University he pursued a career in commercial agriculture, and agriculture finance.  After graduating from The University of Texas School of Law he became a partner in Apache Produce Imports, focused on supply chain financing in the tomato space.  He currently operates his families 5th generation cow/calf ranch.

Clifton joined AGEX in November 2017 and is responsible for all financial and trade activities of AGEX Trade, LLC. Prior to joining AGEX, Clifton was the Vice President of Operations and Finance for a private holding company in San Antonio. He supervised financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University.

Blake joined AGEX in 2015, working in products and legal strategy.  Prior to AGEX, Blake worked as a petroleum landman and later as an energy and real estate attorney.  Blake is a 5th generation rancher from Swisher County, Texas. He has a BBA in accounting from West Texas A&M University and a JD/MBA from Texas Tech University.

Basil  joined AGEX, Inc. in January 2017 and is responsible for customer relations, marketing, and product development.  Before working at AGEX, Inc., Basil worked in customer relations, customer success, web design, and software sales at various tech firms in the Austin area.  Basil received a Bachelor of Arts from Texas State University.

Brandon joined AGEX/FABF II in March 2023 after spending his entire career in oil & gas. Brandon brings with him extensive experience as a Fund Manager, having helped his prior company successfully raise, invest and exit  multiple mineral and royalty funds. He received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
